Equity Days!

Gateway Co-op is pleased to once again be able to celebrate of fiscal year with the distribution of our equity statements and general repayment cheques for the previous fiscal year.

Each year, upon completion of our fiscal year, the Board of Directors reviews the operations of the Co-operative to determine the allocation rates for each of the commodities that the Co-operative sells. These rates will vary from year to year and from one commodity to the next. The Board of Directors will also set the percentage that will be repaid in cash to our members.

For the 2025 fiscal year, the following were set as the allocation rates:

Petroleum. Lubricants, and Propane 1.5%
Food 0.5%
Hardware, Lumber, and Agro 0.5%
Liquor 0.25%

Members with a minimum of $100 of equity will receive a general repayment of 30% of the current year allocation, while members that have applied as an Overage Member will receive 100% of their allocation down to $100 of equity.

Equity Days will be celebrated from July 20 — 23, 2026. Equity statements and cheques for all members will be available at each location on the designated day between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. In addition, there will be a BBQ from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm each day with 100% of the proceeds being given to the non-profit organization that was selected to partner with Gateway Co-op for Equity Days.
